Patient Details
This 29-year-old woman (5'8", 173 lbs.) with breast asymmetry and tuberous breast deformity underwent breast augmentation-mastopexy (breast enlargement with breast lift maneuvers) with correction of tuberous breast deformity and asymmetry with 339cc and 286cc silicone gel breast implants placed in the dual plane (the majority of the breast implants positioned under the muscle) through a circumareolar incision on the left and a circumvertical incision on the right. The silicone breast implants effectively achieved breast enlargement and balance, increasing her breast size from 36B/C to a 36D. The left mastopexy was a "doughnut" breast lift, and the right mastopexy was a "lollipop" breast lift, allowing the modification of breast shape and placement of breast implants, with the incisions for the removal of excess breast skin confined to the areola.
