Gynecomastia correction, or male breast reduction, is frequently performed to reduce the size and shape of the enlarged breast tissue.

Liposuction

Despite adhering to a healthy nutritional plan and regular exercise, there are often troublesome areas of our bodies that don't respond regardless of how much time we spend in the gym. Liposuction, or the removal of excess deposits of fat, can address areas that are resistant to diet and exercise. Liposuction in men can be used to address the abs, flanks, lower back, chest, and neck. Liposuction for men is performed with small cannulas (tubes) placed through tiny incisions. Various liposuction techniques including S.A.L. (suction-assisted liposuction), P.A.L. (power-assisted liposuction), or U.A.L. (ultrasound-assisted liposuction) can be performed, which Dr. Kolker will choose based upon your particular wishes. For more detailed information about having liposuction in New York, follow the links to Dr. Kolker's Liposuction page. Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia surgery, or male breast reduction, is frequently performed to reduce or remove enlarged breast tissue. Due to an excess in male breast fat, breast gland, or both, gynecomastia is the source of self consciousness for many men. Pec workouts and weight loss are often ineffective; gynecomastia surgery, or male breast reduction, removes the unwanted tissue. Using liposuction techniques, combined with glandular removal as needed, prominent "breasts" can be transformed into a sculpted, masculine chest. Non-surgical treatments

Many men are looking for a rapid and effective correction of lines and folds of the face, with little or no downtime. By either relaxing the muscle effects (such as the "11's" between the eyes, or forehead lines) with Botox® Cosmetic, or by refilling areas that have lost volume (such as the nasolabial folds between the cheek and lip) with Restylane or Juvederm, these "lunchtime" office procedures get men back to work, gym, and life shortly after treatment. Restylane and Juvederm are used often, as are Radiesse, Sculptra, or even your own fat depending upon your particular needs (fat grafting to the face can be easily performed at the time of a liposuction procedure). For more detailed information about smoothing lines and wrinkles with Restylane, Juvederm, or Botox in New York, follow the link to Dr. Kolker's Botox and Restylane and Juvederm pages.

Blepharoplasty

However young we may feel, excess skin of the upper eyelids, and puffy lower eyelids can make a man look older and more tired. Removal of excess upper lid skin, and reduction of the bulging fat and skin excess of the lower eyelids is achieved with a blepharoplasty procedure. Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery for men is geared to your specific needs and desires. For more information about eyelid surgery in New York, follow the link to Dr. Kolker's Blepharoplasty / Eyelid Surgery page. If you would like to learn more about the blepharoplasty techniques that will suit you best, we invite you to meet with Dr. Kolker for a private consultation.

Rhinoplasty

Reducing a bump, straightening a curve, or refining the tip of your nose can be achieved with a rhinoplasty procedure. From subtle adjustments to more substantial changes, rhinoplasty in men can accentuate a masculine look. For more information about nose reshaping or rhinoplasty in New York, follow the link to Dr. Kolker's Rhinoplasty page. If you would like to learn more about the rhinoplasty techniques that will suit you best, we invite you to meet with Dr. Kolker for a private consultation.

Facial surgery

As we age, the neck skin droops, and the masculine jawline can become weaker. To rejuvenate and strengthen a man's neck and jawline, a necklift, facelift, or chin implant can be performed. These facial procedures can be performed alone or together, geared to your specific needs.

IPL

As men age, discolorations of the skin increase. Brown spots, red spots, and tiny vessels appear on the nose, cheeks, and elsewhere. Intense pulsed light (IPL) and laser therapy can be used to minimize or erase these discolorations with little or no down time. For fine lines and wrinkles in addition to skin tone and texture problems, Dr. Kolker performs fractional laser treatments or CO2 laser treatments.

Laser

Let's face it, no one likes back hair. Unwanted back, chest, and abdominal hair can also become more abundant as men age. Intense pulsed light and laser hair removal treatments can reduce or eliminate excessive hair in a series of treatments with minimal discomfort and no downtime.

Botox

Botox can be used to effectively stop sweating from the underarms (Botox for Hyperhidrosis). This quick, simple, and safe procedure can keep you dry for six months or more.
