This 47-year-old woman (5'5", 130 lbs., 34B) was diagnosed with left invasive ductal carcinoma and BRCA gene mutation. She underwent bilateral total mastectomies with left sentinel lymph node biopsy, two-stage breast reconstruction with tissue expanders and acellular dermal matrix followed by permanent breast implant placement (silicone breast implants).
