Patient Details

This 43-year-old woman (5‘6", 150 lbs., 36D) was diagnosed with right invasive ductal carcinoma. She underwent right total mastectomy with two-stage left breast reconstruction with tissue expander and acellular dermal matrix followed by permanent breast implant placement (silicone breast implant). A right implant exchange and mastopexy (breast lift) was performed for balance. Nipple reconstruction with local flaps, autologous fat transfer, and areolar tattoo were later performed to complete the breast reconstruction.

Primary Procedure: Right Total Mastectomy

Breast Reconstruction: Right Tissue Expander-Implant Reconstruction, Contralateral Implant exchange with Mastopexy

Breast Implant: Silicone Breast Implants Right 20-650, Left 10-360

Nipple Reconstruction: Modified CV flap, micropigmentation
